The Dance
The dancer disappears in the dance.
Air is the breath. Vayu. The wind that moves through the body and carries every thought and every feeling on its rate and its length.
Yogi Amandeep Ji teaches that emotion does not live in the head — it lives in the rate and length of the breath. "Because your rate and length is in a certain way, you're experiencing certain emotions." Change the breath, change the channel. The kriya is not fighting the thoughts on the screen of the mind. It is changing the frequency the screen is tuned to. From the lower centers — survival, sex, will — the breath carries the energy up through the heart, into prayer, into the throat where speech becomes true, and beyond.
Technology disrupts the breath. Shallow, held, anxious, scattered — the body next to a screen is a body whose vayu is in distress. The Siri Singh Sahib Yogiji predicted a time when stress would be the dominant condition of human life. That time is here. Kundalini is the medicine. The mantra in the long deep breath sets the rate, sets the length, and your channel changes.
